Get WHOIS records from command-line

WHOIS record whois is generally a query to get information about domain name which returns information about the site owner, administrative and technical contacts. In Linux PCs the whois command comes with the distribution mostly and for windows users there is no such option. The users need to depend on popular web applications like whois.net, whois domaintools  etc to get the job done. WhoisCL simple command-line utility that helps you to query whois servers to get information about a registered domain.

Google-Phone Google phone, based on Android operating system  is considered as the only competitive rival to iPhone is released today in Australia. Android is the most celebrated open source Linux based operating system by Google that has got good support in the open source community. Optus is the supplier in Australia who sells HTC Dream mobiles with Android operating system which is the first Android based smart phone in Australia.

Some of us still think creating photo collages need expertise or require expensive tools. But it is wrong and all you need to have is a freeware tool. How to merge contacts in Gmail?

Merging contacts in Gmail Duplicate contacts in email is a big problem always and I have been facing this in Gmail for a long time and I wanted Google to address this issue one or the other day. The day has come and Google has give options to users to select all the contact details for the contact person to merge. This merging becomes very important after Google introducing Google Sync a tool for iPhone, BlackBerry or for any Windows Mobile devices which syncs your Google Contacts and Calendar to it. So it is better to keep your contacts without duplicates in your Gmail or your Google contacts in your iPhones or any other smart phone before using Google Sync.
