Demonoid is up and running again officially
On April 18th one of my friend who is highly obsessed with torrents, got a mail from the Demonoid Moderator or Site Admin conveying the good news officially and as usual he can access his account. Demonoid which is one of the best BitTorrent tracker created by a Serbian popularly known as Deimos has gone offline months back in now back online and is up and running. Demonoid went offline somewhere in November I believe due to alleged threats from CRIA, Canadian Recording Industry Association is now back. It has been told that the site went offline because of the pressure from anti-piracy and copyright activists.
Now the site is up and running with a weird welcome message,
Welcome back!
A few months ago, the site administrator (known as Deimos), lacked the time necessary to maintain this website. And for personal reasons, Deimos decided to resign his position as a member of the site staff.
Before leaving, Deimos picked a new site administrator from among his friends. The old moderator team remained unchanged and will continue helping with the site. The Demoniod team will try to keep everything running just as it always has been.
The trackers and website seem to be working properly, and should any issues arise, they will be taken care of as soon as possible. If we work on any problems over the next few days, the site might be going on and offline. We apologize in advance if this should happen.
Welcome back and enjoy!

Demonoid site admin
The good news is it is up and running but still lot of people in Internet is claiming that Demonoid is blocking Canadian users to move away from CRIA’s way. Already lot of users have been reportedly moved to other BitTorrent trackers, we need to wait and watch for the stability under the new admin. The torrent freaks needs to check out and come back with some valuable feedbacks about this. Let me ask my friend!
