Find and block intruders in your WIFI network
WIFI networks are common these days from workplace to normal coffee shops. Most of the WIFI networks are secured unless if it is a free WIFI and sometimes the WIFI network becomes unsecured because the encryption techniques that is used. Most of the old wireless routers use WEP encryption which is easy to crack. But modern day wireless routers use either WPA/WPA2 which is tough to break unless one uses a dictionary word as password which can be decrypted easily.

Wireless networks which uses WEP encryption is highly insecure even with MAC address filtering and sometimes users are unaware of intruders inside the network. myWIFIzone is a freeware which helps you to identify the intruders whom you may decide to block. myWIFIzone will block all computers based on IP (Internet Protocol) or MAC address on the network which cannot be authenticated with the authentication method selected.

The tool is very simple and self explanatory and no expertise is required to configure and basic understanding of IP and MAC address is enough. For more help one can refer to the help page of myWIFIzone. This tool works fine with Windows XP and Windows 2000 but I am not quite sure about Windows Vista. Also this tool works with both WEP and WPA encryptions but this tool must be a good one to have it installed if you have WEP encrypted wireless network which is highly vulnerable.
