Google Docs which still in beta, is the best known online word processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint presentation application, now takes a big leap by integrating Google gadgets with them. You can insert these gadgets anywhere from your spreadsheet, word or power point presentation. There has been a question about Google docs in comparison with Microsoft Office products in these terms and now Google has silenced those critics. Now you can draw Graphs, fusion charts, and other visualization things.

What still keeps Google in the race?

• Free online storage
• Rich Environment to work having no unnecessary page refresh, rich graphics etc
• Docs Sharing with other users. Google is outstanding in maintaining the integrity by alerting the user if somebody makes changes in parallel.

Still people can argue that Office packages from vendors like Microsoft remains better in rich working environment but I believe the argument has got no point in comparing an offline application with the online one. Everybody must be aware of the technical constraints that still exists for an online application with respect to users. Still Google docs remains beta, and will be really useful if it is able to provide more animation, templates in the near future.
