HCL Website compromised
Over the past few years handful of Indian websites including (.gov.in, and .org) were defaced by Chinese, Pakistani hackers and government is struggling to keep the attackers away. "Ring-Of-Fire"(R0F) today revealed that HCL Store website was defaced with some screenshots. A Turkish hacker group has taken over the site last night replacing the main page with their one.
Ring-Of-Fire is a popular security group for "bLaCkHaTs", Whitehats, Forensic Experts, Exploit researchers, Cyber Investigators and Security Buffs. HCL store is a VeriSign secured site which now seems to be a joke.
I cannot see the news anywhere in the news as it can defame HCL store and bring down their online sales.
