Batch modify files in Windows
Generally a file created in any operating system will have its own file attributes and file timestamp etc. File attributes include properties like read-only, hidden, archive etc. File timestamp can be the file creation time, modified time and last accessed time. Generally programmers use these attributes for versioning or for archiving or purging files in their programs depending on their requirement. Most of us usually look into the file timestamp to identify the file sometimes and managers use the same to check whether the work has completed in time or not. Today we are going to look into one such utility which can change file attributes and modify file timestamp property to the time the user wants as batch. The utility is called Batch File Modifier.
The utility is free and so powerful that you can do multiple file operations such as changing file attributes, modify file timestamp, search and replace text in multiple files, rename files in batch, do HTML tidy operations etc. Batch File Modifier is a much like a Swiss knife to have and do multiple file operations in batch. So this tool is like an all-in-one tool for the file operations and is quite handy to use. The user interface is reasonably good and is really useful and worth to try.
