Indian languages now available from Gmail

hindi email Google today has officially announced a new feature in Gmail which makes it easy to type email in Indian languages which includes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. This new feature allows the users to type words the way they sound in English and Gmail will automatically convert the word to its Indian local language equivalent.

Gmail Settings This new Gmail feature will be available for the users from India and if its not enabled by default, you will need to go the "Settings" page and enable this option in the "Language" section. To display the Gmail in any one of the language just change the display language in the Settings page. This is a welcome feature which is expected to attract more Indian users and Gmail will take the prime position in India as it is the only service that is currently offering more flexibility when it comes to Indic languages.
