Its time to dive into Google Ocean

google-earth Google earth which is one of the widely used and most popular application gets a dimension with the release of Google Earth 5 by introducing Google Ocean to explore the ocean layer. After introducing Google Earth, first came Google sky then the Street view and its now time to explore the ocean layers with Google Ocean. Official announcement of Google Ocean has been posted in Google’s official blog and users can download Google Earth 5 and start exploring the new options and features. Google Earth has come up with some historical images and one can now move back and forth in time to reveal imagery from years and even decades past.

Google Earth 5 comes up with the following features,

  • View Historical imagery from around the world.
  • Explore the ocean floor and surface data and know new places including surf, dive, and travel hotspots and shipwrecks.
  • Capture your navigation or touring  that you make on Google Earth with audio and voice recording to reuse and share it with your friends.
  • Mars Mode which is nothing but a complete simulation of the planet Mars like Earth.
