Microsoft released patch for the IE ‘Zero hour’ flaw

hakers Yesterday Microsoft released an emergency update to patch up a security hole in Internet explorer that lead to zero-hour or zero-day attack by hackers. A zero-day or zero -hour attack is nothing but taking advantage of a vulnerability of an un-patched computer. Read Microsoft’s security bulletin released yesterday which explains the changes made to Internet explorer which changes the way it validates data binding parameters.Microsoft considers the update is very much critical for Internet Explorer 5.01, Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1, and Internet Explorer 7.

Microsoft-technet Microsoft released a similar patch to prevent worm attacks last October and this is second patch from then. One can download the patch either by enabling Windows Update or by downloading the same at Microsoft Support site. I am really happy to use Mozilla at this stage which is quite safe compared to IE.
