Ezine Article directory Backlinks are very important any blog or website for a better pagerank and quality backlinks are as good as gold for bloggers. So I just started writing articles in Ezine Article directory to get quality backlinks and obviously for the fact of spreading the word. Its time to introduce my second blog

Citizen Blogging I have started Digitalprank and have been blogging continuously from March 2008 apart from a 3 months break [June-August] during which I just posted less than 15 articles. Digitalprank is completely a tech blog and I was little bit hesitant to start another blog to write about different and interesting stuffs though I have the desire to write. Last month I convinced myself to start one and vowed to manage my time in a better way and started searching for a nice name. I chose the domain name Citizen Blogging from idea behind Citizen journalism which is nothing but participatory journalism from public or non-professionals.

Get WHOIS records from command-line

WHOIS record whois is generally a query to get information about domain name which returns information about the site owner, administrative and technical contacts. In Linux PCs the whois command comes with the distribution mostly and for windows users there is no such option. The users need to depend on popular web applications like whois.net, whois domaintools  etc to get the job done. WhoisCL simple command-line utility that helps you to query whois servers to get information about a registered domain.

Google Phone released in Australia

Google-Phone Google phone, based on Android operating system  is considered as the only competitive rival to iPhone is released today in Australia. Android is the most celebrated open source Linux based operating system by Google that has got good support in the open source community. Optus is the supplier in Australia who sells HTC Dream mobiles with Android operating system which is the first Android based smart phone in Australia.

Create collages in your favorite shape

shape-collage Making picture collages is very common and most of us love to make one with our photos. I have already written a post about How to create collage online? sometime back in November. Some of us still think creating photo collages need expertise or require expensive tools. But it is wrong and all you need to have is a freeware tool. There are not much freeware tools available to create collage for free and even Microsoft has released AutoCollage which is quite good but you need license. Unlike others Shape Collage is a free tool which allows you to create collages in your favorite shape in few mouse clicks.
