Microsoft, the leader in software solutions and services adds one more acquisition to their database. This time it is Komoku, the anit-rootkit specialist. Komoku founded in 2004 was mainly involved in security with financial and government institutes. Komoku was started as Maryland university’s research project. Komoku means “taking defensive position” in chinese board games and “find and kill evil” by japanese myths. This time Komoku is on the defensive positon, getting acquired by the Software Giant.
