Rich Text editors for Windows

notebook Text editors are one of the widely used application in any operating system in day-to-day life. Text editors are widely useful right from creating a small document or notes to editing a PHP, Java code or for WYSIWYG editing i.e. it will be greatly helpful for normal users to programmers. All operating systems comes with text editor but most of the time it may not be good for using the same for multiple things like programming, editing a HTML or CSS or with powerful text search and replace algorithms. Today we are going to see some free, popular and powerful multi-purpose editors for Windows.

Notepad++ is also a free multi-purpose WYSIWYG editor for Windows with some common rich text editing features similar to Crimson Editor. Apart from the regular features it has got some amazing features like Bookmarking, Auto-completion, Regular expression search and replace options, etc. The regular features include Syntax highlighting, Multi-document, drag and drop support etc. Still what you are waiting for ?
