Screen capture made easy

jing One can find lot of screen capture and screen casting tools available in the market but not all comes with handful of features and simple to use. Jing is one such kind of free screen capture and casting software with handful of options and helps one to share things instantaneously. Jing is nothing but a free project from TechSmith which is known for making popular screen capturing tools. On January 6 TechSmith released Jing Pro, a paid premium version of its free screen capture and casting software.

The tool is very simple to use and can automatically generate code to embed the screen castings directly into Screencast.com, Flickr and FTP to webserver etc. Jing also gives you an interface to edit the images for the images that were captured. The tool saves the video as SWF file and needs a conversion to get it uploaded to Youtube or Google videos and the premium versions supports H.264 encoding and allows the user to upload videos to Facebook, YouTube, Viddler, and Vimeo.

Jing is available to use for Windows and Mac operating systems. See the sample screen casting that has been created and uploaded to Screencast.com.
