Start chatting in iGoogle now
The ajax based iGoogle is one of the most widely used start-up page for rich personalized user experience in recent times. Sometimes i check Google mail through iGoogle as Gmail is not directly accessible in my company. Gmail is one of the Google Gadgets which is quite popular among the iGoogle users but still users are not able to get the real Gmail experience with Google chat missing out. So Google has now extended the chat feature to iGoogle officially today after testing it out with few iGoogle users internally.

The new chat feature in iGoogle allows user to chat with all users who registered with iGoogle. This helps one to chat with users who don’t have a Gmail address and all they need to do is just accept your invitation and sign up for iGoogle. If you are already a Gmail chat user, then your saved settings in Gmail chat will be loaded for the chat widget in your iGoogle page. iGoogle chat is currently rolled out in English for U.S. users and will be soon implemented for all iGoogle supported languages and countries.
